Lessons

Barbara loves to teach anyone interested in learning to play the harp. She thinks of herself as the "Practical" Harp teacher eager to help people reach their musical goals, whether the goal is to learn to play the harp from the beginning, improve their technique, be prepared to play for church work, nursing homes, therapeutic music played by the bedside, recitals; restaurant, studio and/or orchestra work. Having been a professional harpist since 1978, Barbara has a vast array of experience which she is willing to share with you. Read Barbara's full bio >>

From her private music studio, Barbara loves to teach children, teenagers and adult learners. You may also study with Barbara at the University level for credit through Regis University and Colorado Christian University, where she is an affiliate faculty member in Applied Harp.

Barbara tries to engage her students in "practical" experiences and performing opportunities such as, "Harp Fantasia", the 50 per harp ensemble concert sponsored by the Mile High Chapter of the AHS, at the Lakewood Cultural Center.
